Scottish hazel with tungsten carbide tip and jute lanyard

A slender, naturally characterful hazel hiking stick, approximately 110cm, cut from Galloway Forest in Scotland. The bark is retained throughout with natural mottling and knot details along the shank. Built to last, the tip is fitted with a brass ferrule modified to accept a tungsten steel hiking pole tip — more durable and sure-footed on hard surfaces than a standard rubber or brass end.
