Vintage Fork and Spoon Candle Holder

Reclaimed vintage silver plate fork and spoon - a perfect addition to your dining and a great conversation piece.

A spoon and fork work together here in a way that just makes sense. The spoon catches dripped wax and giving the candle a stable base to sit on. The fork is bent so the tines wrap around and cradle the candle from above. Just add a drop or two of wax in the bowl of the spoon and set the candle in place. The cutlery is vintage silver-plate, mounted to a reclaimed fence post block with reclaimed nails — the engraved handle detail of the cutlery left fully visible on the face of the block. The wood is blow-torched and sanded to a smooth, tactile finish, then hand-finished with organic Danish oil and natural beeswax. Branded on the underside with the Bough & Burrow mark. Approximately 150mm / 6 inches tall and 75mm / 3 inches wide. Each one is handmade individually — the cutlery, the bend, the grain, the char pattern all vary slightly piece to piece.
