Handmade using reclaimed timber, vintage silverplate fork and spoon and fixed flush using salvaged nails and copper wire.

A unique, charming and functional centrepiece, this fork and spoon candle holder is hand crafted from a piece of salvaged fence post and a vintage silverplate fork and spoon. The wood has been scorched by blow-torch, then hand shaped using a rasp file and 4 grades of sandpaper, treated to lashings of Danish oil and 3 coats of natural beeswax for a soft and tactile finish. The utensils, with their natural patina are fixed into hand carved recesses using reclaimed pallet nails and copper wire and are hand-bent and arranged to support tapered candles within their curves, transforming everyday cutlery into an eye-catching decorative and functional piece. The sturdy wooden base, with its visible grain and warm natural finish, provides a stable foundation and a touch of rustic elegance, creating a delightful visual contrast with the cool gleam and elegant curves of the metal.
