Cut from a single piece of driftwood picked up from a north Cornwall beach, these drop earrings carry a line of crushed fuchsite mica down the centre — hand-packed into a channel cut through the pith. A small amount of Cornish turquoise is mixed in; you can see it catch differently depending on the light. The inlay is built up in stages and sealed under a clear hard coat, then finished to 3000 grit. Danish oil and beeswax nourish and protect the exposed wood. 30mm × 10mm × 5mm, 2.2g the pair. Light enough to wear all day. Findings are nickel free, silver tone metal with handmade copper jump rings.
